Jodhpur, Rajasthan
Our story
A family workshop making useful leather goods in small batches.
A workshop before a brand
Meenaxi Handicrafts begins with the workbench: hide selection, pattern marking, cutting, stitching, edge finishing and the small corrections that experienced hands make without thinking twice. The aim is not to imitate factory precision. It is to make bags that feel resolved, strong and personal.
Jodhpur has a long ecosystem of metalworkers, textile suppliers, leather traders and craftspeople. Working here means the bag is shaped by a network of practical skills rather than a distant production brief.
Why we use goat and buffalo leather
Goat leather gives lighter bags with a lively grain. Buffalo leather provides extra body and suits larger work and travel styles. We use both depending on what the bag needs to do.
